“From the time we initially started talking to Karen about doing an engagement photo shoot, she was very responsive and struck the right balance between listening to our preferences and offering guidance and ideas. We appreciated her thoroughness in providing details like whether certain locations were accessible only with 4WD vehicles, how to get to the location we selected, and meeting time (Karen was flexible but also knew when our chosen location got the best light and when it would get crowded with hikers).

When the day of our photo shoot approached and the weather forecast showed that it might rain, we were nervous that the experience would be ruined. Throughout, Karen made us feel genuinely cared for and taken care of. She proactively reached out to us with some helpful alternative suggestions for location and time of day based on her extensive experience with different locations in the area, how they photograph in different weather conditions, and when they get the best light.

This was our first time having professional photos taken, and Karen made us feel right at ease from the beginning. She had us talking and laughing the whole time, and our genuine happiness during the experience showed through in the pictures.

We received our pictures quickly (within just a couple of days of our shoot) and were thrilled with the results! She sent us digital copies so that we had total flexibility to print or post them online. We’ve used them for our Save the Dates, for our wedding website, and have also printed out copies to frame in our home.
